Miriam "Mims" (Light) Miller

Miriam “Mims” Miller, age 95, formerly of Toronto, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023, at the home of her daughter.

She was born July 12, 1928, in Dravosburg, PA, to the late George and Helen Wentroble Light. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Gerald, an infant daughter, Joan, and two brothers, George ‘Skip’ and Richard Light.

Mims will be remembered with love by her four children, Debbie (Bob) McCullough of Warren, Ohio, Barbara (Chris) Gillis of Lisbon, Ohio with whom she resided, Jerry (Trudy) Miller of Negley, Ohio and Tom (Camille) Miller of Toronto, Ohio. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

Mims enjoyed spending time with family members and always kept up with what was going on in each of their lives. She was also an avid cat lover.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial celebrating Mims’s life will be held at a later date.
