Norma L. (Steele) Grant

Norma L. (Steele) Grant, 98, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 in Martha Manor in Steubenville, OH.

Norma was born April 8, 1920 in Toronto, daughter of the late Elmore and Mary (Grindle) Steele.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Norma was also a member of the Mary Martha Circle and the U.M. Women’s.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Grant who passed in 1999; her sisters, Mildred McCart, Olive Brewer and Jean Steele; her brothers, Roy, Warren, Delmar and Tom Steele and an infant brother and sister.

Norma leaves behind her two sons, Michael (Vickie) Grant and Bob (Severine) Grant both of Toronto and her daughter, Marie (Nick) Valero of Follansbee, WV; her sister-in-law, Mary Micko of Toronto; her five grandchildren, Steve (Lisa) Valero and Jay (Jenny) Valero, Stacie (Dale) Call, Deena Grant and Lisa (Brian) Fogle and her nine great-grandchildren. 

Family and friends will be received Friday, Oct. 26 from 4-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate and her burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto.
