Pearl A. (Francis) Wright

Pearl A. Wright, 79, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Pearl was born July 10, 1942, in Steubenville, daughter of the late Howard T. and Mary Jane (Spicer) Francis.

She previously worked as a nurse’s aide for 21 years at the La Belle View Nursing Home in Steubenville. Pearl loved to play Bingo, scratch off lottery cards, playing cards with her cousin Elaine, and spending time with her sister on Wednesdays.

In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Wright, who passed in 2016, brother Butch Francis, grandson Justin Wright, daughter-in-law Sandy Kaye Wright, sisters-in-law Joyce Francis and Imogene Daugherty, brother-in-law Dwight Wright, and her beloved dogs, Sissy, and Bruno.

Pearl leaves behind her four children, Tom (Cathy) Wright and Tim Wright both of Toronto, Tracy (Ralph) Anders of Steubenville, Tanya (Jim) Schwarz of Piedmont, OH; adopted daughter, Leeann (TJ) Diley of E. Springfield, OH; adopted son, Gary Dyer of Toronto; sister, Janie (Ed) Fiala of Toronto; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Pearl will be held Thursday, Jan. 20 from 3 PM to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where her funeral service will be held Friday at 11 AM. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
