Robert B. ‘Rob’ Clark, Sr., 64 of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, in the UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, after a battle with cancer.
Rob was born April 9, 1959, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Robert F. Clark and Barbara Joann (Snyder) Clark who survives.
Rob started his career in residential construction as an owner/operator of his own contracting company, Clark Construction. He later moved into commercial construction creating Phoenix Construction Enterprises and most recently Ready Construction.
He was a 1977 graduate of Jefferson Union High School. Rob was an avid fisherman who fished all over the country in all bodies of water large and small.
In addition to his mother, Joann Clark of W. Richland, WA, Rob also leaves behind his four children, Robert ‘Rob, Jr. of Toronto, Jennifer (David) Wilson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jeff (Susan) Clark of Toronto, and Caleb Clark (Julie Gale) of Steubenville; brother, Dan Clark of Toronto; three sisters, Victoria Thompson of Pickerington, OH, Lisa Seward of Gonzales, LA, and Bobby Jo Anthony of W. Richland, WA; six grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Taylor, Griffin, Lincoln Robert, and Alyssa, and several nieces and nephews, friends and employees.
A private memorial service will be held this week at Rob’s house in Toronto. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
