Robert J. Haught

Robert J. Haught, 93, of Toronto, OH went to be with his Lord Jesus, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at his home.

Bob was born March 7, 1929, in Port Homer, OH, son of the late Albert Brady Haught and Maggie (Furbee) Haught.

Bob served his country in the US Air Force in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from the Air Force with 24 years of service. After the military, Bob worked at the Weirton Steel Corp. in the Security Dept. until his retirement.

He was a member of the Port Homer Community Church and the Toronto Senior Citizens.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Surviving is his wife, Emma (Strong) Haught, whom he married Oct. 10, 1949; son David (Brenda) Haught of New Somerset, OH; two daughters, Diane (Mark) Coil of Toronto and Roberta (Wayne) Robinson of Bloomingdale, OH; sister, Betty Hawkins of Wintersville, OH; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held Tuesday April 12, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Bob’s funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Doug Snyder will officiate, and burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto with Military Honors presented by the Toronto American Legion Post #86.
