Robert M. ‘Bob’ Horvath, 85, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH.
Bob was born April 11, 1932 in Saginaw, MI, son of the late Andrew and Anna (Muranye) Horvath.
He was a retired Ironworker with Local 549. Bob was a Jehovah Witness and also a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Marine Corp.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (Tice) Horvath, his sister, Anna Bell Reese and his brother, Bernie Horvath.
Bob leaves behind his daughter, Sherri (Bill) Arnold of Toronto; his two sons, Robert ‘Bobby’ Horvath, Jr. of Logan, OH and Mark Allen Horvath of Mt. Perry, OH; his step-daughter, Darlene (Tom) Piatt of Stratton, OH; his two brothers, Matt Lee Horvath of Springfield, OH and Ed Horvath of Arizona and his three grandchildren, Pamela, Michael and Travis.
Bob’s wishes were to be cremated and a private inurnment will take place in the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto. Arrangements for Bob are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
