Obituary
Sandra Lynn ‘Sandy’ Yocum, 70, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, in the UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Sandy was born August 13, 1952, in Tacoma, WA, daughter of the late Richard and Joyce (Mickelson) Wickham.
Sandy was a highly dedicated employee of the Strip Steel Community Federal Credit Union in Weirton, WV. She worked there for 37 years, most recently as their CEO.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her son, Richard Yocum.
Sandy leaves behind her son, Charles G. (Che) Yocum of Jacksonville, FL; her seven grandchildren, Shawna (Jenna) Alloggia, Richard Yocum, Grant Yocum, Ryan Higgs, Madison Yocum, Asher Keirsey, and Peyton Yocum; two great-grandchildren, Christian and Isaac Yocum.
Family and friends will be received Monday, February 20, from 4 PM to 8 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Everyone is welcome to return on Tuesday for Sandy’s funeral service at 11 am. www.jefosterfh.com
