Shane Maple Obituary

Shane Michael Maple, 29, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away on Thursday, August 27 at his home. He was the son of Shawn R. Maple and Lori J. (Mushrush) Maple (Jeff Lipinski), who survive.

Shane was born in Steubenville, OH on June 5, 1991. He graduated from Toronto High School and served in the United States Marine Corps, participating in the War in Afghanistan and attaining the rank of Corporal. After leaving the service, Shane worked as a logistics clerk at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Shane had a larger than life personality and made friends wherever he went. He loved Ohio State Buckeyes football and above all enjoyed helping others. Shane was enrolled in classes this fall to pursue a degree in counseling.

In addition to his parents, Shane is survived by his sister Anne E Maple, of Steubenville, brother, Patrick T (Megan) Maple of Toronto, girlfriend Nicole Kireta of East Palestine, a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and infant nephew William Oliver Maple who he loved very much.
