Thomas W. Shook

Thomas W. ‘T Willy’ ‘The Wizard’ Shook, 79, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 in the Dixon Heathcare Center in Wintersville, Oh.

Tom was born March 8, 1944, in Toronto, son of the late James Russell and Maude Elizabeth (Hamilton) Shook.

He had formerly worked for the Brewster Trailer Park and Cattrell Companies both in Toronto and Crawford Supply in Steubenville. Tom later retired from the Jefferson Metro Housing Authority in Steubenville.

Tom was a Veteran of the US Army having served his country during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Fogle) Shook in 2020, brother Robert Shook, sister Betty Davis, and two infant brothers.

Surviving are his children, Tracy (Arthur) Showman, Craig (Jane) Shook, Melissa (Bill) Wheeler, Chris Shook and Tammy (Andy) Faure; two sisters, Shirley McFadden, Sharon (Kenneth) Hayes; eight grandchildren, Matthew Showman, Nicholas (Carrie) Showman, Brandy (Mitchell) Hill, Nicki Shook, Joe (Hannah) Wheeler, Lorin (Bryan) Snodgrass, Hannah Aggers, and Hayden Aggers.

Tom’s wishes were to be cremated with no services observed. His arrangements and cremation are in the care of J.E. Foster Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Toronto.
