Timothy Coil Obituary

Timothy N. Coil, 62, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 in the Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV.

 

Tim was born December 1, 1961, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Larry D. “Pappy” and Chariessa M. “Sam” (Gault) Coil.

 

Tim was working as a laborer for Ready Construction, a commercial construction company founded by the late Robert “Rob” Clark, Sr. of Toronto. He was also a Veteran of the US Army.

 

He was a 1981 graduate of Jefferson Union High School. Tim was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan, and he enjoyed chancing his luck with scratch-off tickets with his mother Sam.

 

In addition to his parents, Pappy and Sam, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Jennie Redmond and uncles, Woody, Franklin, Robert and Daniel Gault and Bob Wellington.

 

Tim leaves behind his siblings, Rick (Terrie) Coil and Roxanne (Kevin) Gillis both of Toronto, and Kevin (Ella) Coil of Irondale, OH; four nieces and nephews, Ricky Coil, Ryan (Tamara) Coil, Jennifer (Matt) Gooch, and Dustin (Courtney) Coil; four great-nieces and nephews, Camden, Zaidee and Evan Coil and Brayden Gooch; aunts, Jackie Wellington, Linda Bozick, and Sue Gault; uncles, Walter (Carla) Gault, Paul (Barb) Gault, and Don Redmond, and special friend, Carol Krynicki of Hollow Rock.

 

Services for Tim are private, and burial will be held at the convenience of his family in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto with his parents.

 

Tim's family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Select Specialty Hospital for the wonderful care they provided.
