Our Bill reminisced of the ‘village,’ those persons in his formative years, who instilled life lessons that carried him till the end: Mr. Eugene Calabrese, Mr. Robert Hilz, Mr. Tom Utzler, Mr. Art Robertson, Mr. Bill Stone, Mr. George Grundling, and Mr. & Mrs. John Romey.

His passion for football energized through Punt-Pass-Kick, the Toronto Titans and quarterback for the Toronto Red Knights was unwavering. He graduated from THS in 1982. Later in life he enjoyed his new best friend, his son-in-law, Ben. The last six years were spent as a supporting care giver to a child named Scarlet. Most of all Bill was an exaggerating storyteller. Later he claimed that there was a bit of truth in every story he told.

This funny guy and cut-up was a kind, generous human being taken from our lives too soon.

Bill followed the belief and practiced the principles of Buddhism. His teacher being Lama Marut. His remains have been donated to the Ohio University body donor program where he received his doctorate degree.
