Amelia Dorothy Rebon of Toronto, OH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday morning Feb. 7, 2017.
Amelia was born Dec. 24, 1928 to the late Dane and Ruth E. Westover of Irvona, PA.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and sweetheart, John Rebon, a son, Charles A. Rebon, a granddaughter, Amy Westover, a grandson, Jonathan Rebon and four brothers.
Amelia is survived by sons, John (Patty) Westover and Pastor Dan (Karolyn) Rebon, and a daughter, Sandra (Jim) Smeal; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Vaughn and Mona Jean (Cash) Gray.
Amelia was a devoted wife and mother. She was an immaculate homemaker, excellent cook, and a gifted seamstress. She loved tending her flower gardens and kept them neat as a pin.
She loved the Lord and attended church services at the Cornerstone Church on a regular basis. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her beloved husband referred to her as his Proverbs 31 wife.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday Feb. 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Cornerstone Church in Toronto. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 pm at the Church with Pastors Raul Diaz & Dan Rebon officiating. She will be buried next to her husband in Toronto Union Cemetery.
