I will always remember him. He was my best friend when I was about 5, living next door.
I would come over to visit almost every day. Later when I ran track and played basketball in school he'd save newspaper clippings to show me. Sadly I was looking for a way to contact him and say hello after all the years when I found this, too late. He was always there for me at that time, the little kid next door. He was a good man, a positive influence on me at that time, always encouraging, always funny.
I wish I could have gotten a chance to say hello one more time.
My deepest sympathies to his family.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Liz and Brad. I'll always remember Danny as that ornery, fun-loving guy. Quick with a joke, even quicker with a comeback. He WILL be missed.
May God Bless

Dan and I go back to the fifty's when we had a little combo along with Bill Fields. Don't remember the other musicians but I do remember we always had a good time. Dan was a very good trumpet player and a good guy. He will surely be missed by all that knew him. My condolences to Dan's family. God Bless.
