I am so very sorry for the loss of John. He was a great person and a wonderful friend. The love he had for his family was so very easy to see. He cherished each of his grandkids and it was a pleasure to watch him interact with them. My continued prayers are with all of you. Love to you all.

Dear Geddis Family,
From John Kim an Anthony Stasiulewicz ,
There are no words that I can say or write to replace john ? He was my dear friend, in my hour of need he gave me comfort that I would be ok ? He always called or text me to see how I was doing an he worried about me an my health , never saying how sick he really was? But I knew he was very sick. His strength an love of the city was incredible , his life was Toronto . The day I was hired as a Steubenville Poluce officer (mayor. ) called me to congratulate me, my heart was in T town , but he gave me hoot that one day I would return a better man. So I sucked it up went to work , did my job an always remembered where I was from, as Johnny always told me never forget where you are from . I did not an I retired after. 25 years all the while talking to the mayor , who kept me focused, on my job family an friends. Never forgot where I was from, an John Geddis never forgot where he was from, I've learned so much from him an there will never be another like him? God has blessed me with John , he is in my thoughts an prayers . God bless his family ,

Growing up with John and my brother together was never a dull moment. He could mimic anyone and probably mimicked me when I left the room. He could have had a second career as a stand up comedian. I was a nurse at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and knew John very well when he worked there. He was always such a friendly and pleasant person to know. His smile was very genuine. I remember a lot of practical jokes he pulled on the nurses. It was great to know him

I have known John since I was a little girl and he was going steady with Kitten.My heart is sad for the loss of a good friend and a great all round Guy. John loved the town of Toronro, but he loved his family even more. he always spoke of them and was very proud in being a grandpa. He will be missed, but have comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain nor is he sick. and you all will see him again.
