"Can you tell me where I can catch a bus to Bergholz?" I'm not sure what this meant, but Mr. Smith or my dad, Cal Carnahan, said this to each other every time their paths crossed. Mr. Smith was such a nice, nice man. We are sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

My brother Newell I will miss you dearly. The wonderful talks we have had and the wisdom you have given me are precious. You were a man among men, you said what you believed and that what you spoke was the truth. Our generation has lost one of those people that really loved this country and what it stands for. Your handshake, embrace and smile will always be in my heart. Your passing has brought great sadness to me but you are now healthy and reunited with your loved ones, Thanks for the memories.
