I was in junior high school with Roger. He was a very nice young man, popular with all the girls. I ran into him several times over the years and he always remembered me. I will miss the cute, funny young boy I knew. He was very proud of his family. It was a pleasure to have known him.

Roger was my play-buddy when we were just little kids. He was there when I broke my arm - we were running down a hill and he and Terry fell, so I fell too. I still remember how he led me back up to the house with his arm around my shoulder and holding my broken arm with his other hand. Sounds like he kept that same caring personality throughout his life. I know my mom reconnected with him somehow before she passed away in '99 and she would always tell me about when she would see him. May God give you peace as you go through this sad time.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Roger, it was such a shock here to us at the office. He had such an upbeat spirit and enjoyed talking with everyone he met! He will be missed. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Susan, I never had the opportunity to meet your husband. However I do remember his brothers. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know that I like you was truly blessed when my Mother passed away 2 1/2 yrs ago..I held her hand and told her it was ok, that she could go home...I am happy knowing that she and now Roger are in heaven watching over us... Remember to keep the faith of God's promise. .We shall see them again. .. I will offer my day up to our Heavenly Father for you and your family. ....may the prince of peace keep you wrapped in His loving arms and give you comfort in the days to come. If there is anything I can do. ..don't hesitate to ask. ..
LOVE & PRAYERS; LORENA HOERCHLER

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I remember how hard it was for me to lose my dad, and Terry to lose his mom. May God wrap his loving arms around you and support and comfort you as only He can during this difficult time. Heaven has gained an angel, and I know that you know your dad is in a better place. Thank God we have the hope through HIs Son, that we will be reunited with our loved ones in His good time. Love and Hugs to you and your family.

Susan, and families,
I am sorry for your loss. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Roger but I know he made my friend happy so I know he was a wonderful person. We never know when our Lord is going to call us home so we must be ready and praise God Roger is with Jesus. I will be praying that as time passes the pain you all feel now will be replaced with all the good memories you had with him. Stay strong and hold on to Gods promise that if we are ready we will all see Roger again one day.

I also am a field optician for Shannon, and when I began my employment with them, Roger was my point man for introductions to the various accounts. He regaled me with stories of every shape and size about his life, the military and his family. He sure was a character- in a good way.
He always gave me the impression that he was happy with his life, work and family; and really, isn't that what it's all about?
Rest easy buddy- you'll be missed.
