Dear Tim, Paul, Phil, Betsy and Mrs. Ighnat,
My condolences for the loss of your father and husband. I am grateful to have known Tom and gotten to see him often while working at your restaurant 1995-2002.
"Mr. I." and I enjoyed talking about sports and I was honored that he had shared good words about me to my Grandparents, Andy and Anne Blaner. They always reminded me of this and it made me feel good that Tom had spoke well of me to people who were very close.
Tom taught me so much about operating a business (along with Tim, Paul, Phil and Mrs. I), being the first in the shop focusing on things like accountability of the vendors, the employees and the quality of the food.
This type of consistency/focus is not easy for a lot of young men and women, but as we grow older we all learn the importance of that message. I am sorry to not be in town to pay my respects, I pray for all of you and remember many, many good times with Tom and all of you.
Thank you Tom for being tough on me, it's made a difference in my life!!
Love,
Andy Anderson

I am so saddened about the passing of Uncle Tom. He will always have a special place in my heart. My fondest memories of him was living nearby on Prospect Avenue. He always had a smile on his face and I bet he still does now. My thoughts and prayers will be with you, Mary Jane, and your family and I hope that the sadness in your heavy heart will be lifted and the wonderful memories will bring smiles to your faces.
