It's sure has been a different kind of summer this year without you Dale. We missed you stopping by on the weekends sitting on the porch having a few Ice teas and talking about the good ole days. If you stayed to long you would always call Joycie to let her know he would be home soon. You truly loved Joyce ! You and Joyce always was there for us when we needed you. You both helped us take care of my Dad when needed. You would pull in most Saturdays with flowers or veggies and talk about the good ole days. You loved giving things to people to put a smile on their face and love in their hearts. We miss the conversations , love and laughter we had with you, but someday we'll meet again and talk about heaven. Until then dear friend you truly will be missed by many.

Dale was my school bus driver back in the seventies when I was in grade school in Richmond. I've known his family all my life. Later in life I moved into the neighbor hood and we were neighbors for a lot of years. Didn't realize when I was home three years ago it would be the last time I'd see him but he called me every now and then just to say hi and check up on me. Big Daddy, you will always be here in my mind and heart. Life long friends are hard to come by but I'm honored you were one of mine. Thoughts and prayers to the Swickard family and till we meet again rest in peace my friend.

Our sympathy for Dale and the family He was my last remaining relative as close as first cousin. I remember the many conversations we have had in the years. Dale was never shy on stating his opinion.
