For Beth.
I just saw your mom's obituary Toronto Close Friends and wanted to tell you how sorry I am about your loss. Losing a parent is really hard no matter how old we are and I hope you have many good memories to give you comfort.

Kitch was one of my best friends. I shared many dinners with her and her husband and pets over laughter and love.
There is no way to say how sorry I am to her family that they lost such a wonderful, loving person.

It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. What moves through many people through a difficult time is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before others were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, loved ones will begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave those many memories too beautiful to forget. Many prayers sent to you and your family through this time of sorrow. Remember Matthew 5:4 says, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Keep these words in your hearts. Mark and Michaelle Goodrich

My condolences to the entire family. It is so hard to lose a family member, a piece of you is lost also. I remember Kitch--as Kay's sister, but before that--my cousin's (Ann Williams) best friend. She was always around--or maybe I was. The loss of a really nice person. I'm sure she is with God.
