I just heard about cousin Martha's death the other day. I am truly sorry to hear about her death. She was such a sweet person. She was in Cadiz the last time we had a missionary meeting and I got a really nice picture of her. All the older ones in the family are leaving us. May God Bless And Keep You All In His Loving Arms,Connie (daughter of Delbert Christian - Granddaughter of Fred and Cora Christian)
I wish to express my condolences to the family of Martha West. Martha was such an inspiration and encouragement to many people, especially those who remember her pleasant disposition as a long-time employee of the Smithfield Co-op Store. Martha was also a wonderful genealogical resource to me as I conducted ancestoral research in Jefferson and Harrison counties.
May God continue to bless and strengthen the West family during this time.
My deepest condolences to you all,and my prayers are with you. O.G. keep ya head up, stay strong and make ya momma proud at this dificult time. I know you can and will. GOD BLESS!! Deborah Jones Smith

Miss Martha was always so nice. The first word that comes to mind when I think of Miss Martha is "lady". She was always such a lady!! What a privilege to know her.
Gordon, you and your family have our deepest sympathy. I have fond memories of your her whe we were growing up in Smithfield. I last talked to her at my Aunt Helen's funeral last year and she remarked that she was 92 and still doing well. Take care. Brad, Andrea, and Ashley West.
