JR, My brother and I just found out your Mother passed. I wished we could have been there for you. It brought back a lot of fond memories of our childhood, & your Mom & Dad. I am confident those two are together now, and they are caring and loving and will not forget you. (I hope they put a good word in for Howard and I too) JR we are sorry for your loss and want you to know we will cherish our great memories. Take Care & God Bless.

JR, just learned of your Mothers passing! Betty was a kind and loving person, I have good memories of her... Especially when she was elected mediator when moving my Mothers treasures to Charleston!
The passing of our parents is expected, but never easy to deal with! I wish you the best!
I never knew Betty moved to Il, I sent a note to her long after your father passed, but it was returned by mail! Sorry she never got it...

Growing up in the "Court", I remember Mrs . Pope very well. She was one of the kindest people I had ever known. She was the type of person who was genuinely interested in what was "happening " in your life. My condolences go out to JR and his family.
