We could not make it to the funeral home because of illness . Harry was a very good
friend. He was an usher at our wedding back in 1999. I also knew him from the Knights of Columbus and we also worked at the same steel mill. He will always be remembered. we had long talks at the old St. Josephs chapel

To all the Cummings siblings my heart goes out to you at this sorrowful time. Your fathers Christ - like legacy as well as your mothers will live on forever generation after generation. I cannot help but share this beautiful testimony from just one of eight children that confirms it. May your sadness become beautiful memories. Joann Chesney
" Dad, even though the Lord came through the night to take you to your eternal resting place your life on this earth was long and very strong living the Catholic faith daily. You spent long hours each and every day working hard to provide for your family of 8 children. I have watched and learned so much from you over the years which made me the person I am today. I can't thank you enough for instilling in me the character traits I have witnessed from you over the years. You are sadly missed. Love you Dad. James "
